Tuesday, June 03, 2003 Break a Boundary and I'll back out. Lin [12:38 AM]: haha. my boss is a psychopath.. he seriously wants me to call at 2 a.m. Michelle [12:38 AM]: !! Michelle [12:38 AM]: weirdass Lin [12:38 AM]: I told him I couldn't call at 8 a.m. (when he wants me to for "PDI") .. because I could hardly get out of bed for work before then let alone call him Lin [12:39 AM]: and then I jokingly told him .. "uh.. I can call you at 2 a.m.. I'll be up then" Lin [12:39 AM]: and he was like.. "Ok yeah. That's fine." Michelle [12:43 AM]: LOL! Michelle [12:43 AM]: weird Lin [12:43 AM]: I know. So I told him he needed to get sleep. Lin [12:44 AM]: And then he told me, "'Lin'.. I'll always be up longer than you... and I'll always be awake before you." Lin [12:44 AM]: I have this great tendency to run into really weird people. Lin [12:44 AM]: So nice. :) Lin [12:44 AM]: *laughs a little uneasily* Michelle [12:45 AM]: weeeeiiird Lin [12:45 AM]: and then he told me to "be prepared to talk about some really great things.." Michelle [12:45 AM]: I've never communicated that much with a boss of mine anyway Lin [12:45 AM]: so I'm thinking I'm not going to call. Michelle [12:45 AM]: odd... Michelle [12:45 AM]: sounds unprofessional Lin [12:45 AM]: he acts like he's my father. He told me today he was "worried when I didn't call in the morning because I'm usually really good at checking-in" Lin [12:46 AM]: heh. well it's a sales position. So these managers technically have this "personal daily interest" in our plans for the day.. it's annoying though and I refuse to participate anymore.. because you know how I am about privacy Lin [12:47 AM]: and obv. he's starting to cross into some 'personal boundaries' here. heh Michelle [12:48 AM]: yeah, that's fucked up Lin [12:48 AM]: *laughs slightly* eh.. yeah. . . . babbled Lin |
