Without a doubt we are only both very amused in this conversation because we can understand each other's tone and stuff.. like I've said before.. Al and I just bounce off of each other when it comes to humor (and even in IM).. it's great. Loooove Al's humor. The funny thing is.. we just both have reeeeally ridiculous humor sometimes in the sense that the most stupid-hypothetical-ideas are really funny to us. For example.. Al (5:35:04 PM): hey..btw...when do you find out about yoru RA thing for next year? Lin (5:35:15 PM): the 31st now :( Lin (5:35:23 PM): we just got an e-mail yesterday saying that it's going to be delayed Al (5:35:29 PM): why?! Al (5:35:32 PM): they can't do that! Al (5:35:36 PM): oh the angst! Lin (5:35:40 PM): I know! My mom is really pissed Lin (5:35:47 PM): because she wants to contact the IP office Al (5:35:51 PM): haha Lin (5:35:53 PM): but I don't want her to until they make the choice Lin (5:35:56 PM): not about the RA Lin (5:36:16 PM): but the fact that they didn't really tell us about this weird-meal-plan situation Al (5:36:37 PM): oh my god tell me about it! Al (5:36:38 PM): i konw Lin (5:36:40 PM): I don't know what it's like for London.. but I think it's a rip off in Florence and they added terms to the contract which I never saw initially stated Al (5:36:40 PM): it's horrible Lin (5:36:47 PM): and now that I'm in BUSINESS LAW Lin (5:36:50 PM): that doesn't seem fair Al (5:36:52 PM): HAHAHA Lin (5:36:55 PM): so I was angry about it and told my mom Lin (5:37:01 PM): and I don't think they have the right to do that Lin (5:37:02 PM): so we'll see Lin (5:37:19 PM): but obviously I can't have her calling them up when there's this choice about a position I may be selected for Lin (5:37:35 PM): and the choice has now been turned over to the IP division specifically instead of housing Lin (5:37:39 PM): so it complicates everything Lin (5:37:46 PM): what do you think about the whole meal plan thing? Lin (5:38:21 PM): what's it even like for London? Al (5:38:28 PM): i think they should have told us about it Al (5:38:38 PM): not lead us to believe that we would be served cafe style Al (5:38:47 PM): and only find out htat we have to do our own things.... My sister says he thinks I'm crazy/funny. Ok?.. Guess.that's.a.good.thing.. or something.. I always love when I'm considered crazy/funny. Heh. But I guess he's nice.. guess he's just trying to get to know 'la familia' better.. and since he barely bothered getting to know me during our high school years. Oh well. We were different people.. different 'groups'.. funny how things change after high school. I just remembered something.. a comment Peter made when I played a song I composed at this 'talent' day we had at this event. He was amazed that I had composed the song and said that it literally 'gave him chills.' I didn't believe him, and then he proved it by showing me his arm which had goosebumps up it. Hm.. I think I might have even wrote a post on this.. now that I'm thinking back to it... it was actually a really nice compliment that I've obviously never forgotten since then. . . . babbled Lin |
