Friday, February 28, 2003 So-much for the 'schedule' Aly ruined my plans. A different story when I feel completely clear enough to tell it. continued. .. Pretty-much. I am a failure. I couldn't even stick by a simple schedule. And funny, whenver it comes to doing anything remotely productful pertaining to homework.. bam... wall goes up and nothing gets done. I always manage to find a distraction. And somehow I don't feel I'm looking for the distractions when they happen, because I'm *just* about to work on something, and then something else distracts me form doing whatever-it-was I wanted to complete. Example: I picked up my book to read. Aly's music blaring loudly behind her headphones was annoying enough, but I didn't ask Aly to turn her headphones down because I have a tendency to do the same. I continued attempting to read, until Aly's "boyfriend" (apparently that's what he is now) decided to call her while he was drunk in Mexico, and she decides to sit in the room and talk to him *loudly* on the phone. Which upon that I gave up reading to go take a shower instead, and then never managed to get back to reading. That kind of reeally bugged me. Even I have the decency to go into the lobby when I see Aly is trying to read or do homework when I'm having a phone conversation. oh well. Example 2: .. nah, nevermind. . . . babbled Lin |
