Wednesday, October 09, 2002 Not that it's Tuesday anymore.. ----- Here is your horoscope for Tuesday, October 8 Aquarius applies the brakes to a world that's moving too fast. You'd rather perfect one thing than start a dozen new ones. Expect a change in the tone of certain friendships and working relationships. ------ Why do things always have to be 'changing' for me?... That's right, I would rather perfect one thing than start a dozen new ones, but does that happen? No.. things are going smooth.. and then wham.. everything changes on me. My window in my dorm room is destroyed. One of my 'friends' had the brilliant idea of taking the window screen out so we could 'talk better' because the rules around here do not allow guys in our rooms after 1 a.m.... soooo... off the window the screen went, and now I can't get it back on. My other friend came by tonight to chat and discovered my window-dilemma (not being able to shut the window because the screen is half wedged in the closing-area, and then half falling off the window completely)... I got to talking with him (as we struggled to bang the window into place), and he asked me 'how can a guy tell if a girl's interested in him?" ... I didn't really know what to say.. certainly I wasn't going to give away the things I do when I'm interested in a guy (as he is highly 'interesting' to me :) heh), so I decided to turn the tables. How can a girl tell when a guy is interested in her? .. he answered, for himself personally, he's sarcastic.. lots of eye-contact.. and moments of 'staring' slightly.. .. then I kinda chuckled and said, "well you're that way with me.. sarcastic and everything.. we make lots of 'eye contact'.. you're not telling me you're into me like that, are you?".. he didn't respond, but was just further sarcastic by emphasizing the 'moments of staring' idea .. haha.. I dunno, we already both clarified through other people that we weren't interested in each other like that (and I went up to him personally to 'clarify' things.. just so I could feel a little more stupid and awkward) .. I am such a dork.. and a liar... not that I would mind us being really cool friends nonetheless. "are you aware.. that when you just stare.. for hours.. into the sky.. what do you see? can you show it to me? the beauty.. I can see you shine inside.. I wanna see the world - see it in a new light.. I can feel your spirit rise... I want to see the world through your eyes.." ... blasting Duncan Sheik.. Mmm! Stay awake stay awake! Must-not-fall-asleep... I cannot believe Derek-o is going to see Duncan Sheik in concert.. I am so... jealous... Ahhhhhhhhh I am jealous! ........ if you look at the time.... I want to sleep... right-about-now.. but I have hours upon hours of work to makeup before tomorrow, and it's just not going to happen in time. . . . babbled Lin |
