two others

added to my list tonight:

moby - porcelain
311 - amber

.... thank you to the person who recommended those.. I <3 them already.

I've been working on a piano composition/song for a couple years.. bits and parts added, but I've never felt right until tonight finally bringing the song to an end. As I think I've talked about in a similar post in this journal, the music I make is the poetry from my heart.. it means a lot. I'm happy to finally have some conclusion to the song... there is still some space which is not clearly laid out yet right before the ending of the song, but I know where the sound be-tween the beginning is aiming toward finishing to. *shrugs slightly*
The moby song reminded me of what I do on the piano... the background..

the ending to my piano song goes along a theme of these words: "... I'm saving my last goodbye.... yes I'm saving my last goodbye... I'm saving my last goodbye... because I know.. I know I'll be seeing you again.. "
there aren't really words to the song, but if you can imagine the background music to words such as those.. wistful yet with hope... that's how it sounds. heh, and I just realized how odd it is that I was just working on this piano piece before I heard this song by moby, yet my song and the moby one seem to be along similar ideas.. goodbyes and such.

I'm not good with putting into words exactly what I want to say, so I use music to hopefully portray every word I feel.

..... soon I suppose I'll be making an entirely new song with bits of this one intermingled perhaps.

Your history in life never simply stops at a certain point, but it becomes a part of you and you go on to discover another way of living with your history as your legs to support your walk through new grounds. That's how my music works as well.
