Saturday, July 06, 2002 "vacation" weeeell. I'm headed off to San Diego early morning tomorrow. We were supposed to leave tonight, but things got messed up (nothing surprising about that though). From San Diego I will fly to Seattle - so I'm thinking I will be gone for at least 2 weeks. I am already thoroughly exhausted and I haven't even gone on this "vacation" yet. And the whole reason "vacation" is in quotes is because I'm not sure I can even technically call this a vacation for me. Heh, in other words, I'm bringing my work with me (web design.. which means I get to tote around my newly-purchased-pretty-expensive laptop.. *SIGH*) and planning on working on the site while staying in the beach house at La Jolla, San Diego.. ha.. but we'll see what happens. I'm an idiot. I've had the chance to be doing good-web-design for $40/hr. (eh.. I don't know how I got this job either.. don't ask :Þ) .. and I haven't been working on it hardly at all. So now that I'm going on vacation I think I'll actually start on it.. gosh.. I am such an idiot.. even I know it's going to be impossible to work on a frickin' website while the beach (and all sorts of other entertainment) is a short walk away. Maybe I'll meet some hot guy and have a summer fling. lol!.. right. But if I do, yes the website will go on hold. (that whole last sentence was a joke.. eh.. in case anyone would actually think that might happen with me.. it wouldn't.. or would it.. ahha). n-e-way. the point is. I'm going to be gone for a while.
