Wednesday, June 26, 2002 my new friend and a crazy lady in the middle of it all. yeah. this guy doesn't know it yet, but he's my new best friend at my work. .. heh.. and I was starting to feel in a good mood until this damn lady just came up to my desk and gave me the most evil look for not having a "hard copy of the code!" (wtf??..) anyway, back to my friend ;) ..uh... .. that lady just walked by again (talking to herself?)... "I GUESS NO ONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN FIND IT..." (she must be crazy..) now, back to my friend.. anyway, he hardly knows I exhist, but I went to the area where he works yesterday (upstairs) in frantic-mode trying to get an invoice printed, and finally after it printed I wanted the file to disappear off of the computer's temporary-files-area (because the computer obviously wasn't my own and I didn't want any traces of personal financial records on that computer..) I never was able to find the file, despite numerous attempts which should have worked, but that's where I met him and he kind of tried to help me through all of it (though he admitted he didn't have a clue from the start :P). Then I left, but we make small-talk every day (the last *gasp* 2! :P oh-wooo.. ahhaha) right before he leaves work. hee.. I think it's pretty funny that I don't even know his name, and the fact that he won't really talk to me when passing by except when he's leaving work? (but hey, it's only been 2 days to the beginning of a wonderful 2-week friendship - since my job ends after that and I'll be travelling). *grin* but, anyway, he's just seems like a friendly-dorky-type guy who I would love to at least get to know better. "I think it's amazing how you can be here all day, and then I come down, and you look like you're still interested in your work!" (jokingly said) ahha, that's me for you - ms. workaholic... just-kidding. it's the fact that this job is so easy that all I do is surf the web or read a book all day.. and SOMETIMES on the side I'll design the website like I should be doing for my other work (which I was doing at that one moment which is when he came down the stairs and said that..) adios. work is done for me in half an hr.! woooooooo! but then my soccer game.. boooooo. . . . babbled Lin |
