Sunday, June 23, 2002 did you make the list? ..I was talking with my friend Mat when I realized I'm long-overdue for updating my buddylist. lol.. we compared our different categories and numbers.. and now it's at least slightly comforting to know I'm not the only one who has issues with large numbers on my buddy-list when half of them I probably never talk to. :Þ You can learn a lot from my (a?) buddy list. ha. I mean, people are *forced* to be categorized on that thing.. and then you can take it to higher levels (which I do). After being "categorized", I then arrange names in order of preference in chatting. If you're at the top you're in good standing.. bottom, then you probably don't even really exhist in my mind (and will be the next removals on "update-day"). I think it's bad luck to be at the top of the list though, heh, two people at *the top* have been bumped. I talked to them all of the time in the recent-past, but I should've known they were 'temporary'-talks.. it is a little sad to bump people, especially those at the top. I think that little altercation will be for the long-term now. People who I've talked to for years now are the only ones at 'the top', with one exception. Mat is now currently 5th on the list, 1st in actual-appearance on my bl at the moment.. lol... I suggested to him that maybe I'll start posting 'rankings' of people on my buddy list in my online profile so everyone can know for-sure where they stand. hee. kidding of course. that would be a little extreme. . . . babbled Lin |
