Saturday, June 08, 2002 almost famous ha. not really, but I am quoted in the city newspaper, which I thought was kind of neat. In a gray box in large bold letter - HighSchoolName Grads Complete a Masterpiece And then where I'm quoted - "..delivered the honor address, urging her friends and classmates to 'look at your life as a masterpiece.' 'The painter Vincent Van Gough once said: "I dream my painting, and then I paint my dream." She continued: 'Our life is truly a masterpiece in process, and the past - from our childhood throughout high school - has been setting the frame, the foundation, for this masterpiece." --------- Too bad they spelled my name wrong, as-usual. Oooh well. Still neat to see my speech made the paper. . . . babbled Lin |
