Sunday, May 12, 2002 on a more serious note.. "The will of love takes precedence over the will of the ground, and this precedence and eternal decidedness- that is, the love of being for being- this decidedness is the innermost core of absolute freedom. -Oedipus I was sifting through saved-quotations today.. some of the other things which just sit in my e-mail cluttering things up.. searching for a quotation which I wanted to use for the 'honor speech' I was writing (which I eventually found, but I'm not saying what it is yet until my speech is read by the 'judges'..heh). Anyway, those who I've sent my speech to have generally given me the "thumbs up" on it. I still would like a couple of other people's opinions, but as of now I am happy with my speech. I wrote, simply but creatively?, what I wanted to pass on to my peers and the other hundreds who would be sitting in the audience.. I only hope the 'judges' think my message is important and 'worthy' of being read. Heh, if not, I don't give a shit because I know in my heart it will have been as worthy of a speech as any other. ladeda. . . . babbled Lin |
