lol.. I thought this was funny. er, but maybe it's just me who thinks so..
actually, I think it's the last paragraph I thought was the funniest. just because. grading on how well they perform in a hotel restaurant?.. that's not even a 'normal' environment anyway.. *shrug*

He's right and there seems to be a genuine need for it. Have you ever noticed how IT folk seem to have a language of their own? You ask them a question in English and then listen in amazement as they respond in a completely incomprehensible language, without understanding a single word. Well, Munich University has decided to do something about this universal problem by offering a new course for IT students who want to learn how to mix with society.

The course will aim to improve computer students' social skills, teaching them how to dress properly and make small talk. Students will then be tested with a three-course meal at a local hotel. They will be assessed on how well they use their new-found skills.
