Wednesday, February 27, 2002 here's the deal.. I've delayed applying to housing to every college/university I've applied to (one particular major-one being ASU), heh, and I come to find out today, well, 'yesterday' now I suppose, that the housing app is due tomorrow. Ok.. fine.."so I'll get it done" I tell myself. Come to find out.. "oh.. all of the housing I'm at all interested in is already gone/taken".. .. the system of applying to colleges/universities is completely messed-up. Anohter thing, how the heck do they expect to hold me to accepting a scholarship by March 1st (tomorrow?) when I won't even know the schools/other financial aid I've been accepted to/given.. heh.. screwed up. So the people who are giving me a scholarship.. maybe not giving anymore.. from ASU say, "Well we need to know very soon so we can give it to someone else if you're not coming to ASU".. and my response?.. "Well I would let you know.. but unfortuately I can't call colleges/universities up and demand they give me acceptance or financial aid money on the spot.. things just don't work that way".. obviously. bleh. . . . babbled Lin |
