Saturday, July 07, 2001 heehee.. my younger brother (10) finally got to pitch tonight!! I'm so proud of him. :) They finally let him pitch in the "All-Star" game, (he usually never gets the chance to pitch) and I guess they won their game 16 - 6! (he's "on the road" w/ the All-Star team right now, and they're playing against other All-Star teams in the state) lol, my sister and I are really happy.. our goal as sisters is to make sure he makes it into high school as a "jock"... *grin* but we're making sure he doesn't get the "jock" attitude that can sometimes come with that.. heh.. we still are giving him the rules to "how to treat the ladies (gentlemaness.. though that's not a word :Þ) ".. "what not to get involved with (i.e. drugs, alcohol.. heh)".. and other stuff that could be useful for him. (I stress education 1st.. but that's just me ;D {nerd}.. haha.. naaaah) *grin* we're trying to leave a "family legend" in my high school.. lol.. not really.. but my sister and I figured this tonight: I can be the one who had the "brains" in the family (but no common sense) My sister can be the "idiot" in the family who will become "class clown" My brother can be the "athlete" in the family who will become the "super star jock".... heehee.. anyway... we just know he has talent and want him to reach his potential as an athlete (we have made sure he is involved in soccer, baseball, basketball, and football... he's really good in all of them too ;D) *grin* I just play soccer, and I can't claim to be the greatest at that, heh, but at least I'm active.. and not an all-around-complete-total nerd (not that I think there's anything wrong with being a nerd.. I actually know I'm sooo attracted to guy-nerds..lol.. nah.. maybe not the look.. but, I don't care much about looks anyway.. .. hehe.. the guy I marry {IF I marry.. haha.. which is highly questionable} will be a nerd at heart, but clean-cut still :Þ) Dang.. I get off onto tangents easily.............. ouuttts. oh.. speaking of soccer.. soccer game tomorrow for me.... and I have to be there at 7:30 a.m.! ugh! ::woke up at 12:30 p.m. today:: *lazy bum* hehe. . . . babbled Lin |
