Tuesday, July 10, 2001 *grin* I blogged too soon I guess.. heh.. show on cbs tonight about "Sex and Sensibility".. kind of a touchy subject (er.. no-pun-intended ;x) .. but, yeah.. I guess not everyone out there is raging w/ uncontrollable hormones..lol (unlike in Big Brother - see below).. or, everyone is.. but there's still those select who choose abstinence. *shrug* Yeah I choose that.. and I'm proud of it even (otherwise I wouldn't be revealing my thoughts on this issue in here).. but I hope others do too.. I know there's a lot of pressure out there these days, but like one girl said on the show.. "there's a certain joy which comes with patience and waiting for something great".. I couldn't have said it better. I don't know.. it's almost like a test of life to me.. the "waiting" issue.. and it's an awesome test.. because it re-affirms to myself (and all who try to understand me) my discernment.. my ability to hold my moral beliefs. *shrug* :) anyway........ . . . babbled Lin |
